Overview

Motifi ("the App") is developed by Jacob Kirsch. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information. The short version: we do not collect, store, or share any personal data.

Data We Collect

Motifi collects minimal, anonymous usage analytics to improve the app experience:

• Anonymous Analytics: We use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service, to collect anonymous usage signals (e.g., which features are used, app launches). TelemetryDeck does not collect personal data, device identifiers, or IP addresses. All data is aggregated and cannot be traced back to individual users.

Data We Do Not Collect

Beyond the anonymous analytics described above, Motifi does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. Specifically:

• No advertising identifiers
• No user accounts or sign-in
• No server-side data storage

Location Data

If you enable the weather widget, Motifi may request access to your device's location. This location data is used exclusively on your device to fetch weather information and is never sent to any server operated by us. Location data is not stored, logged, or shared.

Photos

If you use photo widgets, any images you select remain entirely on your device. Motifi does not upload, transmit, or process your photos on any external server.

Apple Services

Motifi uses the following Apple services, which are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy:

• WeatherKit: Weather data is fetched through Apple's WeatherKit API. Requests are routed through Apple's infrastructure.
• StoreKit: In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. Motifi does not have access to your payment information.
• HealthKit: If you enable the Step Count widget, Motifi reads your daily step count from Apple Health. This data is used exclusively on your device for widget display and is never transmitted or stored externally.
• EventKit: If you enable the Calendar widget, Motifi reads your upcoming calendar events. This data is used exclusively on your device for widget display and is never transmitted or stored externally.
• iCloud: If enabled, Motifi syncs your widget configurations and custom themes across your devices via iCloud. This data is managed by Apple's iCloud infrastructure and is governed by Apple's privacy policies.

Children's Privacy

Motifi does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since the App collects no data whatsoever, it is safe for users of all ages.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
